Before you read what other people say about us, it helps to know exactly what a studio day with UK Models involves. Here's an honest walkthrough of the day, from arrival to choosing your images.
On arrival you'll be welcomed by a member of the team, who will talk you through the plan for the day and answer any questions. Parents and guardians of under-18s stay with them throughout.
Hair and make-up
Our stylists will look at the outfits you've brought and suggest a look that suits your face shape and the type of modelling you're interested in. Styling is kept natural — agencies want to see the real you.
The photoshoot
In the studio, a professional photographer will guide you through poses and expressions, with outfit changes to show your range. Most people are nervous for the first few minutes — that's completely normal, and our team is there to help you relax.
The photographs
After the shoot you'll sit down with the team to look through the images together. We'll explain which shots work best for agencies and why, so you understand what makes a strong modelling image.
The portfolio
If you decide to go ahead, we can help you build a portfolio from your strongest images, alongside tools such as Z-cards and eBooks. There is never any pressure to buy on the day — take time to decide what is right for you.
